As we are already in June I've decided to run the poll for two weeks only. Yes, that's only 14 days, so please feel free to bump this thread from time to time.

I will restrict this poll to one vote per person and I would appreciate it if you could only vote if you intend on actually attending.

Brian

Brian, just thought I would mention that October the 3rd has been pencilled in for the Ilford Factory visit.

Well I have gone with the 17th to the 19th. I do hope this weekend is favourite. The 10th is too near the Ilford visit, and the 24th is too near November, in which I wish to go away.

Hi, I've gone for the 10th as that suits me best but the other weekends are not too bad either so I should be able to make it whatever is decided, being retired helps!

All the best for now,

Neil.

As the next Ilford factory tour is the 3rd October I'm planning to be in the UK, so I'll vote for that weekend.

It would make a lot of sense if the two events were linked, particularly as Anglesey is not far from Mobberley.

At this distance, I can probably make any date so I'm voting for the 3rd in support of those going to Mobberley... (the fact that I am in the "reserves" has nothing whatsoever to do with it of course)...

I'll probably shoot up to the Lakes for the week afterwards as I'll already be over half of the way there

Bob.

That could work out well, tis' but a short(ish) hop from one venue to the other.

Can I vote again? I think on reflection Dave had a valid point here that others have picked up on and old Mr 'Speed' here took his time  !

Well, can I change my mind and vote for the 3rd?

Stoo

Well, you can but not in this poll. I've tried to get the moderators to change the settings on a poll before and they simply don't have ability to do it. So the best I can do I'm afraid it abandon this poll and start a new one. If this is agreable with everyone I will start a new poll on the weekend where you can vote for all the dates that you can actually make. I would also suggest that you post a message to the new thread stating your preffered dates including any dates that you cannont make. In this way we can identify which dates can be attended by the most people.

Brian

Indeed... I think it is the better option. Allowing people to vote for all dates they can make rather than just the one preferred date makes sense. Oh yeah, possibly relevant: school half-term is 22nd October to 26th October so the weekends either side of that may be busier than usual.

Cheers, Bob.

Dear all, I believe that I can make any of the dates. So I prefer not to vote since I am indifferent.

Best regards from hot and humid Michigan,

Dee

Delphine, It is probably best if you do vote, even for all dates, in the forthcoming new poll. This will give some idea of the numbers of people able to attend each date for accomodation purposes. Barry

I've created a new poll (there was a url link here which no longer exists)

Mods, can you close this thread please?
