I've got an old Polaroid camera that I intend to shoot some Type 85 in this upcoming week, and I went ahead and purchased some sodium sulfite from Photo Formulary in order to clear the negs.

It occurs to me, however, that Kodak Hypo Clear Agent, which seems to rely primarily on sodium sulfite, might work just as well (and is far easier for me to get, particularly as I have many pouches of it around here...)

Has anyone tried using HCA to clear Polaroid peel-apart negatives? Am I completely off-base here?

TIA

I'll second that: HCA and Type 55 works a dream.
