After using Xtol and TXP in medium format for many years, I've recently switched back to HC110 due to economic reasons, plus someone gave me a shitload of HC110 when they closed their darkroom. Kodak's developing time at 68 degrees is 4.75 minutes, so I generally develop at 66 degrees for a little over 5 minutes (I have a chart in the darkroom extrapolating the different time/temp combos). I agitate for the first 30 sec and then 5 sec twice a minute. Getting VERY grainy negs. Much grainier than I remember from using this combo years ago. So much so that it's noticeable in 8x10 enlargements. What am I doing wrong?
