I have enrolled a government darkroom basics course and tutor made two experiments done unsuccessfully.
We have satin ilford multigrade paper , 1/9 dilution ilford multigrade developer , homemade fixer, multigrade enlarger

1- First experiment , we exposed small multigrade paper in 35mm multigrade enlarger with normal negative , put the paper in to developer and 5 seconds later , we exploded flash on to paper and result was brown bare paper. I dont know what she was trying but no success.

2- Second experiment , we put wavy art glass and some textiles on to paper and we put paper under sunlight for 5 minutes and then washed the paper with water and than fixer applied. Some lalic color , thats all. I remember from past , I think I aw wonderful purple color at this process but how ?

She asked for my help and I ask for your help.

Thank you,
umut

#1 sounds like a bodged attempt at Sabbatier / "solarization".
#2 sounds like trying to make a lumen print.
Plenty of info available on both processes; I'd do a search, maybe have a session with ChatGPT about it and then give another go in a more controlled/sensible manner.

These experiments seem like standard darkroom alt-process stuff, but the timing and exposure look off. Try tweaking the flash and giving the sun-printing more time; that should get you the richer tones you're looking for.
