I have been busy this morning and have processed two rolls of 35mm HP5+ in Ilfotec HC.
I actually like to develop after dinner (in my kitchen) and leave the film hanging in the shower overnight. That way, the next morning I can look at the negatives and start the day with either ripping my hair off, some new goal or inspiration, depending on the resultsFor printing, I have to wait until Mondays, when I get to go to a public darkroom.
I've routinely gotten out of bed at 4:30am since April, 2023, so that I can putter around in the darkroom. But before that, I brew myself a pot of coffee (grind the beans, French press them), and have either porridge, or omelette and bacon. I've been able to make a tri-colour gum print in one session, or a carbon transfer print. The bad news is, I'm in bed by 8:30/9!
I must have a dedicated space, otherwise I wouldn't get anything done.
