A couple of 4-1/2 inch square wood lensboards.

Originally for a RB Cycle Graphic camera.
Actual size is 114 x 114 mm, the inner square is 116.5 mm, the flange is 3 mm thick.
The hole is 66 mm diameter.
Both are 8 mm (5/16 thick.

How exactly is the inner square 116.5 mm and the outer size 114 mm square? Is that a metric thing?
