Hello,

for all of you who understand (a little bit) German. And / or who like to see some recent pictures of the Fotoimpex shop in Berlin, the Fotoimpex warehouse outside Berlin in Bad Saarow, and some pictures of the construction of the new ADOX factory in Bad Saarow.
And for all of you who also like vinyl records, mechanical watches, typewriters and paper......;-).
A nice documentation about the "analog revival" in Berlin:

Best regards,

Looking forward to viewing this, Henning.
Will come in handy for my German studies too - listing to something interesting will make it easier to stay focused even more.

Thanks Nanette!
If you have any questions, or if you need some translation in certain parts, just feel free to ask me .

I am quite regularly in Berlin. Partly because of my job, partly because some family members are living there. It's an interesting and very dynamic city.
And concerning classic film photography it is really "the capital" in whole Europe: In no other European city film photography is so popular like in Berlin. One of the reasons why Berlin has so much small, enthusiastic companies who serve the needs of film photographers. Besides Fotoimpex and Adox there are more than 15 professional labs, several camera shops for used film cameras, camera repair companies, galleries, photographers wo offer film workshops, and lots of professional photographers who also use film.
E.g. Last year a complete new shop for used film cameras (photo and small format movie film) and camera repairs has opened not so far away from the Fotoimpex shop in Berlin-Mitte:
