Well Shadowmaker, that is part of this forum too. A kind of struggle of fellows who considered this site as last resort of mingling and exchanging ideas on analog photography (one can even twist on this term itself) and those who embrace all kind of techniques and who for the former seem to water the forum. But I hope you will get used to that. As you identified yourself as analog photographer I thought it would be apt to use "Apug". And maybe to your relief, I am the worst of the former group...

We all go to the same grocery stores. Some go for all vegetables. Some only want red meat. Same store. Call it what you want. Makes no difference.

One of the oddest threads I've seen.

Would a Photorio by any other name not be as fun a photo group? Credit to Shakespeare, hate to be accused of plagiarism.

Whatever the name, I hope the site will stand as an authoritative resource for film photography in the sea of "Social Media" sites.
The only way to do that is to emphasize FILM and DARKROOM work to attract the input of specialists in FILM and DARKROOM work. Otherwise It might deteriorate onto another "...look what I did with my iPhone today..." site.
