I admire very much Leonardo Da Vinci's turbulent flow drawings at Leicester Codex.
Leonardo invested too much time to investigate fluid flow and tried to understand , catalog the shapes in turbulence. And carried this knowledge to other subjects for example foliage or hair drawings. I read that he never copied what he sees but collect all knowledge to create attractive drawings.

I am thinking to replay his experiments as seen and understood from his drawings at the codexes and hologram them.

How can a water flowing from a well and pour on to a pond could be hologrammed ?

An British woman photographer , dropped a photopaper in to the river and exposed it from the surface with flash.

Mine is more complex but at home lab , fluid flow can be controlled .

My idea is to make a transparent acrylic box and put a hologram glass back of it and fire a green laser to cross the turbulent water and reflect from the hologram glass and source and reflection crosses for to make a hologram .

Is there green light sensitive hologram plate and does it work and do you have an idea ?

Best ,

There are people who do this who research fluid dynamics. Not with the hologram necessarily, but imaging turbulent flow. There are various techniques. Laser velocimetry is one of them. There's a material that you can disperse in the water to help reflect your laser light too called Kalliroscope.

If holographic plate is transparent , it is better to put it between first laser light and the kalliroscope reflected fluid.
Is holographic plate transparent ?

How can I prevent vibration ? What is the hologram exposure time ?

Umut, what an awesome idea!

A holograph plate is transparent and they can be sensitive to green light. But you have hit upon the challenge, exposure time and vibration. I'm no expert, but I know that exposures can be minutes long and that keeping vibrations to a minimum is completely necessary. That's why a lot of simple holograph "cameras" are constructed in sand boxes, which reduce vibrations. But perhaps with a high powered laser it could be done.

But the idea of having such a hologram is really intriguing; très magnifique idée!

Have you seen Étienne-Jules Marey's smoke photographs?

In order to see what's doable in holography (and what not), you might take a look at

or read some introductions (e.g. Graham Saxby's Practical Holography)
