Hello all,

I've been working with casein bichromate for several months, and I have a couple problems that I have yet to figure out. The first issue is occasional spots of paint that don't wash away. It can range from a very small dot to a quite large stain. It's very sporadic, and only happens with one layer of paint (I'm doing four color prints). If it were a sizing issue, I feel like all the colors would stain the same spot.

I also sometimes get visible brush strokes, particularly with the blue layer. The print clears just fine, but the brush strokes from coating the paper are still visible. Any thoughts on why that might happen? Like the other problem, it's somewhat sporadic.

I can post some images if that would help. Any thoughts or advice are welcome!

- If one color is causing the problem, might have an incompatible pigment.
- You might try smoothing brush marks using a dry brush with a soft touch
