...It is not a portrait Trioplan, it is not a normal Trioplan, it is not Universal Heliar but it looks like it s giant brother.. What is this lens?

Boxed in a beautiful black box just like an old hat.

I sent Ugo an Email.

The Portrait Trioplan and apparently the "regular" Trioplan were sold with an option to add the Soft Focus Feature (element rotation) in the mid-1930's. Fairly uncommon item and was fairly expensive for what was typically an inexpensive lens.

1936 ad attached.
