If I hadn't purchased 190 rolls of Tmax this week, I'd jump on Tri-X. BH lowered its price down to 4.45$...

Yes. It was 5.95 last year and then went down to 4.95.

Still, the excellent HP5 bulk is the beat deal around.

May be it is just me, but I find that it is real hard to bulk load 120 and 4"x5" film.

The above obviously suggests 135!

I also would shoot more 120 if there was bulk loading and cheaper film around.
Ben

So would I, Bence. When I think of exposing film for any speed/processing testing, MF has to take a back seat. Test on 35, shoot alot of 35, some MF. 'Wish that weren't the case.

Bulk loading larger sizes is easy....you just need to use a lot of tape

For all those who purchase TriX in ready made cassettes the price drop is very nice.

Fortunately for the rest of us Ilford has affordably priced their HP5 in ready made cassettes and bulk rolls.

Gorgeous Fomapan 100 at 3.30$ is a very good deal

Aww maaaan, back to 4.95$.

Did anyone buy some?

Not I but I love these alerts to sale prices. There have been many times when the alert came at just the right time and saved me some serious money.

Thankfully so.

I love Tri-X but not at those prices.

Ilford bulk for me.

I love Tri-X any way. Ilford HP5+ too.

I wish Ilford would do something similar for 120

Tx not selling in 135 has nothing to do with Ilford's 120 selling?
I just bought Lomo 100 ISO 120 cheap cause it was dated '12...
That worried me cause the Lomo brick shop had lots to sell.

I never said it did. I was merely commenting that I wished Ilford would sell paper and film combos with 120 film much like they do with the combo packs with 35mm film in them. I should have not included the part of the quote that said the poster was glad TX price was coming down.
I am very doubtful Ilford would do this, still a wish for me though.

The expiration date on $5 rolls at Amazon prime is August 2017. Might explain part of it.
