Am going on a long trip and want to shoot BW 220 film. That leaves me with
Tri-X 320. For developing in PMK or Pyrocat HD, can anyone suggest an
EI and development time in one of these developers to start with?
For some reason searching Tri-X on this forum and Google isn't turning up
results for me.
Thank you,
Harlan

Test first, especially if you're going on a trip.. I can't recall the times I used for PMK but.. test!

I've used the times for TX400 as a starting point.

My development time for Tri-X 320 in PMK is 9.5 minutes at 70 degrees. I rate Tri-X at EI 160 for my spotmeter, 320 for SBR 7 using the Beyond the Zone System incident metering method. I use PMK at standard dilution and agitation as per package directions.
