I recently acuired this camera from my father. I mainly shoot digital, however I have heard and seen great things about medium format view cameras. I have never shot one before and not sure where to begin. I have everything that came with the camera and there is a place here in Atlanta thas sells and I believe develops the film. I am looking for pointers on how to get the best out of this camera.

Get a good book, see what's in yopur local library, Using the View Camera - Steve Simmonds would be a good start. Better still get your father to teach you how to use it.

Good Afternoon,

Check the largeformatphotography.info site. There are also numerous threads here on APUG which should be useful.

Just to inform you. There is nothing "medium" about that camera. It's a Large Format Camera. I.e. you don't have to be modest, but go ahead and post your upcoming questions in the Large Format subforum.
