It was a really nice trip. Enjoyed the company of some really seasoned photographers, and learnt a lot. Scanning some of the cvs film that i got developed at walmart which they have managed to screw up really well.

Hi Guys, very nice meeting Gary, Mike and Missi on this street photography outing. It was fun, it was challenging because I figured after I developed that my Pentax MEF has a shutter problem.
Most of my shots on this film have dark bands. Luckily the second camera Canon AE1-P with the 85mm lens worked just fine and I managed to get few shots that stirred my curiosity for this kind of photography and will make me go back. Here is the link to my Flickr set dedicated to this event. I hope we can organize these outings more often.

Try the Loblaws at Glen Erin+Eglinton. Their processing is reasonably consistent+they can do 120 C-41, too, so no excuses for letting the Hassie collect dust. Hard to imagine them doing a worse job than Walmart! Like the shot.

You should try the PHSC swap meet next Sunday for short-dated and expired film.

I called up that Loblaw's, they dont process 120 anymore, the rates for 35 mm are $5.99 in 5 days and $6.99 in 1 hour.
Other places developing 120 are expensive, up to $9.99 for developing. better stick to Image Works, cheap and professional.

Funny but I think they might. Depends on who you ask there. Their work was OK-ish and saved a trip to TIW for non-critical stuff. I usually just 'fridge exposed 120 and save it for a day I'm downtown and visit TIW.
