I have the 135mm Xenar with cam and a 152 Ektar with cam, but when I set ininity for the 152mm and the rangefinder focus is good, why when I change distance to 5-10 feet they don't match? Shoud I set it for the distance I will most likely be using the rangefinder? If doing landscape I would be using the GG for focus anyway.

I don't know why you would need use the GG to do landscape photography, that is nearly always done w/ the lens at infinity. Maybe you want to know exactly what the lens is seeing and not have to do minor cropping when printing. As for the difference you're seeing between the 2 lenses, maybe the wrong cam is on one lens? Or maybe the 2 lenses having 2 different optical designs is causing that?

Check out graflex.org for the crown rangefinder calibration.

Oh Boy. I never have tried to change a cam. Really wanted to at one time. I've read that every camera, cam and lens were calibrated at Graflex, not sure how much of that is legend. Just put in a couple batteries and use the focus spotlight 😀

1, make sure you have the correct cam for each lens
2, do you have separate infinity stops for each lens?

Does the 135mm lens and rangefinder track from infinity to 6 feet? If it does and the 152mm does not it could be the wrong cam for 152mm.

When you look at the list of cams for these things you will see more than 1 cam that is close and may work. P8-150.3, P9-152 and P10-153 mm. What is printed on the lens is just the nominal focal length. The same with 135mm. I have a 203mm ektar and a 203mm wollensak and they take different cams. Sadly most of the people that used this stuff when new are no longer with us and can't help us.
