Well I have come to feel that I did have too many cameras since I have the 4 Contax cameras (RX,Aria, S2 & 139Q) I also had the Yashica FX3 S2000 and 109 MP. I ended up giving the 2 Yashicas to a public high school in my neighborhood. I liked the Yashicas but they got little use since I mainly use the Contax's.

 Ive yet to experience the feeling of having too many cameras....must try harder:wink:

I would be willing to sell your Hasselblad 503cx to help out your aunt Sally.

I just sold off my RB67 kit to start a Pentacon Six kit.

Previously, I sold off two Canon EOS1n kits to fund a Canon F1 kit & a couple of Speed Graphics.

Dianna sold off her Bronica something-or-other 645 kit to fund a different Bronica 6x6 something-or-other kit, then sold that and split the funds between partially funding her Deardorff and Kiev60 kits.

several Diana's, Holgas and folders bought and sold in the mean time to fund each other.

Long, long ago in a galaxy far far away, I sold my Pentax ME or MX to fund a Mamiya MF SLR of some kind, then sold that for a Nikon F that was sweet that I had a shutter problem on and promptly broke by trying to strip down and fix while watching tv one day. Ugh.

Nickleodeon Photo Blaster...takes forever to get through a 144-exposure roll

...And consider that you have just been told that your dear beloved Great Aunt Sally is in critical condition and needs a left foot little toe transplant operation in order to continue her fan dancing career.

Which one would you first sell on one of those auction sites?
.../...
What about you?

How about I'd rather simply give her my left foot little toe?

My Yashica Minister-D. It sees even less use than my Zorki or Coronet.

well, all my LF stuff that I wasn't using is now on the auction site. The Ansco 4x5, the Calumet C1 8x10 and its accessories, and two of my Contax 167mt bodies and a pair of Contax lenses for them. Time to clear off some shelf space, and bring in some cash to pay for some of the LF stuff I still have.

I am in the process of getting stuff ready to sell. Some of it is hard to part with and since Aunt Sally can live without a toe, I'ld ditch the crappy EOS rebel I traded a perfectly good B mount K88 for. I hate that camera.

Sell Auntie and then order the MP.....

Well, I would start with the 4 PHD cameras wife has, the the coolpix 4300 digital thing I found. That would leave wife with one digital PHD.

Next would be the Minox that I have.

Then finally, you could probably pry the Alpa 9d out of myhands, but it was the first camera I ever bought.

No way you are getting my 4 Alpa 11 (2 el and 2 si) out of my living hands. And I still need the Nikonos V for underwater, but you caould talk me out of the second sea and sea (I already sold one).

I'd probably sell my Minolta XG-1... Maybe the SRT200 if I can get good price on either of them.. I am keeping my Kalimar camera though

The Wisner 8x10 X.

It and it's A-Ries get bigger and heavier as I get smaller and weaker. Nice ride but it's ending.; And I'm liking the weirdness of the O serie more and more ... the mental exercise of LF without a focusing screen and a thousand pounds of baggage.

First, let's start by saying what I'd never sell - FE2, FM3a, and F100. I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but the D70s is the first to go on the auction block. I've really tried, shooting RAW and Photoshop CS2, but the image quality does not match my film Nikons, and the RAW workflow is more involved than film/Coolscan V/Photoshop - RAW involves more post-processing, not less than scanning.

The FSU 30x40cm camera should count for more than one - it weighs about as much as any five other cameras (LF included).

But yes, if anything is to go that's the one. I'd much rather carry the 24x30cm antique - it's portable!

The broken ones that are not worth fixing would be the first to go.

Nikon D100 in a heartbeat.

Obviously from the "How Many Cameras Do You Own" thread it's quite certain that we are an acquisitive bunch of folk.

So, look at your "inventory". And consider that you have just been told that your dear beloved Great Aunt Sally is in critical condition and needs a left foot little toe transplant operation in order to continue her fan dancing career.

Which one would you first sell on one of those auction sites?

Oh, sorry, no FSU's, that market is already flooded!

I do have a Nikon Nikkormat FT-3 that I guess I could be forced to sell to help out Aunt Sally.

What about you?

Nikon D100 in a heartbeat.

Aw c'mon Brent. We're talking about cameras here - not digitoys! :D

How ya' been?

Merry merry, Happy happy etc....

My Holga, or my non-working Minolta Maxxum 7xi. My other cameras will be hidden away in a Swiss bank safety deposit box until Great (more like Mediocre Aunt Sally if she expects me to sell one of my cameras!) Aunt Sally gets better or kicks it.
