Howdy Pardners,
Today we have a special on outdated film at the ranch... (yes - I think the day's been too long and I think I'm a cowboy)!

Anyway - I was just clearing out the freezer chest and came across the following:

4x5 FILMS:

Fuji Velvia RVP 4x5 Box of 50 dated 2005/9 frozen solid since purchase - 1 qty.
Fuji Velvia RVP 4x5 Box of 10 dated 2006/9 frozen solid since purchase - 16 qty.
Fuji NPL 4x5 Box of 50 dated 2004 frozen solid since purchase - 4 qty.
Fuji NPL 4x5 Box of 50 dated 2002 frozen solid since purchase- 2 qty.
Fuji NPL 4x5 Box of 10 dated 2006 frozen solid since purchase- 12 qty.

220 FiLMS:
Fuji Velvia RVP 220 - Box of 5 dated 2002 F.S.S.P (see above) - 2 qty
Fuji NPS 220 - Box of 5 dated 2004/10 F.S.S.P (see above) - 8+ qty
Kodak Portra 160VC 220 - Box of 5 dated 2005 F.S.S.P (see above) - 5+ qty

120 FiLMS:
Fuji Velvia RVP 120 - 2 Boxes of 5 dated 2006 F.S.S.P (see above) - 4 qty
Fuji NPS 120 - rolls dated 2006 F.S.S.P (see above) - 20+ qty
Kodak Portra 160VC 120 - Box of 5 dated 2005 F.S.S.P (see above) - 3 qty

There are dribs and drabs of other stuff (ekta for example) and some higher speed color films... maybe I'll leave them for 'throw in' if someone wants to make an offer on a big chunk of this stuff (or all of it for that matter).

Prices?

I've been somewhat...kinda...possibly curious about shooting 4x5 color film.

Hi - I'm open to offers - I think the market might be kind of capricious on outdated color film. And when you cold store it nobody seems to actually believe it. I guess a lot of people use that line to dump bad film (?). But I depend on film being good to make my living (well - I did when you could actually use film to be an arch. photographer) but anyway...

I guess I'd price (roughly) the 4x5 neg film at $1 per sheet (box purchase necessary) and the 4x5 velvia at 1.50 a sheet (ditto), 120 neg film at 1.50 a roll and 220 at $2. Velvia 120 at $2 a roll and 220 at $2.50. If someone wants to buy a whole bunch I'd discount it some....

okay- kind of a dirty scan - but this is from the same velvia stock - it was shot some time last year. just to show you how clean it is... (colorwise of course)

Oops! You're quite right John - that was a typo. AND a miscount! I have FOUR packs of five AND TWO packs of 10.

Shane - yes - that would be fine. I'll have to check on shipping cost to AUS though... looks like $18 would cover it... (eep! I know!) and yes - it's ISO 50 stuff.

I'm very tempted to take all the 160bVC in 120. I liked that film in 35mm...so why not in square format? Is there a hold option?

Oops - sorry Leigh. Yes - that's pretty much right - though I only counted the bricks and not the singles. There may be a few more loose. But I figure I'll spend the dollars and deal with the change when I need to. If you want to get ALL the velvia I'll give you a slightly more precise enumeration.

Stephanie - there's a hold option if you buy it... heh...! Or if nobody else does... I'm not sure what to tell you. I'm guessing there's probably enough to go around though. If you want to just 'hold' five rolls say - for a few days - I can do that.

I just have to think about it for a while. I haven't shot color for a long time (years) and there's no labs close that can do 120 film. I'd have to either send it out or at least go to Ames, if not Des Moines, to have it processed. Getting a Jobo and doing it myself is out of the question at this time.

Probably not a good idea. If you had any of the B&W left. Blah. I knew I should've jumped right on that.

I have Portra 400 NC too- maybe five rolls.

ALSO - I FORGOT TO MENTION: I have two 10 roll bricks (and CHANGE!) of Provia in 120 and some 220

Would you take $250 for the 6x 50sht 5x4 NPL? I am happy to cover postage to UK.

Gari

Go Velveeta! I'll shoot Velveeta before I ever pick up Velvia. I don't see why it is so liked.

Hi Sparky,
How would 5 boxes of 4x5 NPL (10 sheets) for $40 plus UK shipping sound?
Charlie

PM sent... but the 10 sheet boxes are USD 10 each (see 2nd post).
