Saturday, 23:55 All workshop film developed (minus the Cirkut Camera) and I am quite pleased with the results. I'll scan and post a few tomorrow. I think I've earned a long winters nap. You guys got out of town just in time. Temps plummeted and wind is nasty. Windchill just now is 13 degrees. Brrr. Both fireplaces are going.

I had a great time during the week, and I would like to thank to all of you that with the patience to teach me the Zone System over and over. It helped a lot and all the readings I do now make more sense after putting into practice all the exposing techniques I saw during the week. I went South in the morning, run out of gas and had to buy from the guy that sells rocks and gold at Goldfield, 3 gallons for $21, not bad considering the gas station was closed and didn't want to go up to Tonopah. I went into Death Valley and probably stop about 300 times to take pictures until I realized I wasn't going to make it into Las Vegas. I drove in the dark for the last 90 miles or so. Finally got into Vegas at 7:00pm, parked into the back of a 7/11 and put all my belongings in my 3 backpacks. I had a beer right there on the parking lot, headed to the rental car and from there to NYC to see the love ones.

I have about 20 4x5 exposed negatives resting in a box and 5 rolls of 35mm waiting to be developed, will be posting as I develop them myself, it may take a while. Looking forward to see others pictures as well.

Hey all,

Made it home safe Saturday 5:30 AM after 5 hours sleep in Page AZ. The drive was great with detour though Zion NP. It started snowing shortly after I got home.

Spent most of Saturday being my wife's Boy-Toy.

I've been developing most of the day, had a couple chemical issues with the C41 stuff so I'm not done.

I've got to say that this whole trip was a great experience. Thanks to Per and Jim I learned something too. :D
