The Tonopah Tribute!
A four day workshop with Per Volquartz and Jim Galli in Tonopah, Nevada. Tonopah, an old decaying silver mining town will serve as the center for this workshop that will focus on use of lenses, old glass, weird time-tested contraptions - and how to build basic image content - as well as photographing in spectacular locations in this unique and desolate part of the Western United States.
"As Jim Galli says: "- this is the workshop to come to if you want to look through all this ancient glass that people are talking about all the time. A little hands on before you commit to spending stupid money on old brass lenses. * I really think that might be something people are interested in."
Monday November 9 through Thursday November 12
15 people maximum.
