Just a lil update -
I can confirm that the self-timer from a Compur #00 fits and works perfectly in the rolleiflex's shutter (which seems to be a very slightly modified size 0)

Upper escapement came from the parts donor, lower escapement is the original from the rolleiflex. The rolleiflex timer has some extra teeth to allow the spring tension to be adjusted but that seems totally unnecessary.

My repairs to the escapement described above turned out to be unreliable, the hook (eye-shaped thing hanging out the right side) was too floppy and would sometimes pop off the pin it was supposed to grab, and the ratcheting action only worked about %50 of the time. New timer sounds and feels better and seems to work perfectly so far.
