Tips on cleaner Scans?

Hello everyone,

my first post here. Does anyone have any tips on how to get cleaner scans? It seems that no matter how hard I try, I get crap on my scans.

Im using a Canoscan 8000f.

Hi, welcome to APUG. We don't discuss scanning here, we stick to analog processes. DPUG has many threads on scanning and digital/film processes. Again, welcome to APUG, please feel free top post on any analog subject.
