On the topic of colour casts w/ Ektar, I read on other forums that when over-exposed, the film has a tendency to have casts. Not that I noticed it myself, because I've always used incident metering with this film, which is the surest way to avoid overexposed highlights, as one does with slide film.

If you really want to have some fun, try explaining double exposures to a clueless digisnapper!

In that circumstance, I'd say it's a new $150 Photoshop plug-in called ShortWind that makes digital look just like real film. Or I'd just claim that the camera wasn't advancing the CMOS chip far enough between exposures, and needed adjustment.

Lee, you must be standing in for George Carlin. That's funny.

I've had a bit of mixed results with the blue skies in Ektar but have ultimately gotten it working well.
