Hi to one and all. I must admit to lurking around APUG now for some months , so it's time to come clean, send off a subscription and introduce myself.
I'm called Jack, I live in the county of West Sussex in England and have been interested in photography for - well - years.
It all really started when I was about 10 when I saved up my pocket money and got an 'Instamatic 25'. Soon after that an uncle, when clearing out an attic, pushed an old Gnome Beta II in my direction and said that I could muck about with it if I liked. Well, I liked!
However with adulthood, work and family my photographic interest soon wained to taking holiday snaps (I had grown out of the instamatic by that time and was using an old M4P - utterly excellent). Then I came upon the mag 'Black and White Photography' and the old enthusiasm was rekindled. Now using a Bronica ETRC along with the Leica. Finally have got printing again and am having great fun with multigrade paper - had never used the stuff before. So, I'm not exactly a newbe, just really out of date and learning a lot pretty fast too.
