Process: Pt/PD ( I used pd with only 1-3 drops of Pt since it is so expensive. and for contrast I use Na2.) (I use Post. Oxilate at room temp. (72-75 F)) and clear with either EDTA/sod. sulfite or kodak clearing bath and Sod. Sulfite.)
Paper: use cot-320, archers platine,
Pre-Process Treatment: I have started to treat all papers with 1% Ox. acid bath for one minute. and even using tween20 in the mix. This seems to have minimize the speckling i'm getting it the blacks.
Post-Process: screen dry and mount dry mount on 100% cotton rag board.
Subjective: Many papers seem to have qualities that changes from batch to batch. I feel giving a pre-bath to make sure the paper is proper for printing.
My favorite paper was the platinotype which i have no idea why it was discontinued, knowing so many others that are only half as good.
