Thoughts on how well this Tamron 55-200 from KEH would work on a Nikon film camera?

I understand it is made for certain digital cameras, but would it work okay on a film camera?

Or would the frame size make it unusable?

Thanks.

You could look at the Tamaron site but given the cameras listed I'd say it's designed for the small sensor so it probably won't cover the whole frame.

Did you read the KEH disclaimer? It's for an APS-C sensor and will likely vignette. Looks like no aperture ring, so MF is out. Won't work on earlier AF models, either.

Thanks for the feedback.

I did read the disclaimer but I wondered if that was just CYB.

It appears to be a real issue.

Shame though, pretty decent price.

The wrong stuff is always cheap.

This question is moot for me since I have bought a camera with a couple of lenses:

Tamron 75-300 and a Nikon 28-80.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.
