Anyone have tips on changing the lamp in a Thomas safelight? I bought my light new a few years back and the lamp got pretty dim this fall, so I bought a replacement. Problem is, can't get the old one out. It's a t-base lamp, but feels really stuck. Is this common or am I missing something?
Thanks!

Yeah, you'd think so, but this lamp is just not moving at all. Like it and the socket have become one.

Okay, I just wasn't pushing it hard enough. I got it.

I like to put a little WD-40 on the base of a new lamp. It keeps corrosion from seizing the base to the socket. Just spray a small amount on a cloth and wipe the bulb base. Just a thin coat is all that's needed. This works especially well on aluminum base bulbs.
