Walking around downtown at night taking photos with a Pentacon Six and a Zeiss Summacron 180mm lens, hand-held. Boy, are my arms tired.

A Canon 300, bought 2 weeks ago brand new for £10 ($16) at a camera fair. Then it's my wife's to use.

I'd prefer to be shooting with my Exacta Varex IIb and Pancolor, Lydith etc but as per usual my baggage was over weight flying home, so it's still in the UK.

Speed Graphic with a 150mm G-Claron and Tmax 100. I was out last night (Christmas) and it was spectacular, half a moon, very calm, nobody around. Went to a park in San Bruno and then to a light industrial area also in San Bruno.

My Duaflex II w/FP4+ also Yashica D w/Delta 100. I might pick up my Contax 139Q (its loaded with APX 400) I prefer my Yash. Oh yeah, playing with a home made 4x5 and paper negs.

Braun Paxette with 50mm schneider and FP4
and a bolex B8vs with FomapanR 100

I'm back in love with my favorite camera (again), a Chrome Bronica ETR. I was deep in the vintage rangefinder mode there for a few months but I found myself spending more time with replacing light seals, doing CLA's, and messing with various lens combinations to get a good camera set up with good results. After pulling out a bit of my hair with poor results and dust on these tiny 35mm negs I had to go back to Medium Format. My ETR, RB67, Yashica-D, and Mamiya's are certainly... soothing.

This week I must go out with the 6x12 panoramic camera I am building (link below). It will be held together with rubber bands for now and the rangefinder will be stuck on with gaffer tape but it's finally at the stage where it should be able to take pictures. If it works, I can then do all of the little finishing touches which will make it complete.

I don't know if I want to build another one but if anyone wants the drawings (and CNC files) let me know by PM.

I'm shooting Fuji Reala with a Mamiya C330F because it's my easiest camera to operate with gloves on in the subzero weather we are having at the moment.

I've got a couple of Rolleicord IIb or Model 3 - Model K3 - 541 that I've been exercising lately.

During the cold weather I keep the camera I'm using inside my coat to keep it warm!

Circa 1895 Rochester Optical Co. "Standard" 6.5x8.5" view camera with its original 300mm Rapid Rectilinear lens, 4x5 reducing back (until the 6.5x8.5" film I ordered arrives.)

This was a first run after spending a bit of time tuning up the camera for use. Upon viewing images in the field through the lens for the first time, I can see one reason why contact printing was the norm in those days. Compared to modern optics, this particular lens is unsharp at any speed. Wide open, I could find no sharp parts of the image anywhere. With an f/16 waterhouse stop, I could see enough edge sharpness to focus the camera, but it was nowhere near as sharp as a modern lens. Go figure. I plan to use this camera primarily for portraits, so extreme sharpness is not required. It will be interesting to see images focused at a closer range. I suspect there's a "sweet spot" there somewhere. Or not.

The adventure continues.

I'm shooting Arista 400 in my Pentacon Six. Those two always work well together.
