Last weekend stroll along a small Dutch river, the Kromme Rijn, with a Contax 167MT, Planar 1,7/50 and Superia 200 - and sunshine!

Using my last roll of Kodachrome 35mm in my Nikon FG.

Steve.

Mostly, so far this week, a 4x5 Pacemaker Speed Graphic. I took it to the neighborhood Halloween parade Sunday, then tonight I put a Polaroid back on and took pics of kids and passed them to their parents. A lot of the kids also wanted the used flashbulbs.

This past Sunday I was out with the Wehman 8x10 with a JML 8-1/4" process lens, shooting on FP4+. I had the camera setup when an elderly gentleman strolled up and started observing me. We started chatting and after a while he asked if I would mind him watching me work. I said, of course not. When I was done focusing, I asked him if he wanted to look at the GG. He said yes, and mentioned that it had been 50+ years since he'd looked at a view camera GG.

I usually offer curious folks a view of the GG, and try to answer questions in simple terms. Most questions are usually of the "is this an old/antique camera" or the "are you a professional photographer" type. Some folks want to know the benefits of such a large camera.

Curiously, I have never encountered another LF photog when I've been out shooting, and rarely film shooters for that matter.

Nikon FM2. It's what I mostly use. 50mm lens. 3200 speed film - Kodak.

This week I am using a Mamiya RB67

This week I am using a Mamiya RB67 with a 127mm lens that I purchased on e-bay three weeks ago. Although I like the larger 6x7 negative for printing, the camera is rather unwealdy compared with my Mamiya 645 or, especially, my Fuji GS645 rangefinder. I will therefore resell the RB67 on e-bay. One of the great things about these great old film cameras is that they are inexpensive and if you don't like them you are not stuck with a great financial invenstment! (I think that I will next try a Rolleiflex SL66).

Kodak Signet 80- American RF with interchangeable lenses. And a 1x viewfinder, just like the Nikon RF's.

Now in Tucson for a couple of weeks. Today I loaded up the F5 and the Pentax 67II and took a drive into the "back country". Takes longer and longer to get there through all the "suburban sprawl".

Just a couple of shots on each as, would you believe it, it was mostly cloudy in SE AZ today!

The weather is weird everywhere this Autumn!

The Mamiya C220 with 65mm and 135mm lenses is in the small "road trip" camera case for tomorrow.

I'm trying to shoot more transparency film with this, now that I have finally obtained my own MF projector.

Or should that that last observation be posted in the "process or final print" thread. ??

Matt

my big, huge, clunky, 15 th century, sewing machine like, iron bridge like, machine age, Calumet C1 view camera on a heavy tripod. Taking some family portraits at home.

Should be using my 4x5 or 5x7, what's the matter with me? I guess I'm getting ready for an 11x14. Oh, I forgot that I have a Seneca 8x10, what was I thinking?

been ebaying

Are these threads supposed to die and be forgotten or is it reasonable to resurrect them?

I've had a bit of fun over the past three weeks, throwing away my hard-earned on Ebay purchases. I've loaded several of these cameras and intend to try them out over the next week or three.

Cosina CT1-A (Perutz 100)
Minolta SRT Super (Fuji Superia 400)
Konica C35 (Fuji 400)
Fujica 35 FS (Provia 100)
Ansco Karomat (Ilford XP2)
Yashica FX3 (Sensia 400)

Not to mention the cameras I've owned for some time and intend using this week.

Nikon F3 (Provia 100)
Fujica ST605 (Ilford XP2)

Well, I have to use film so I can fit food in the refrigerator.

This weekend I finished up a roll of Konica 200 which was in my Fed 4 which has been in my car for the last six months.
I took my son to Carisbrooke castle and wished I had brought a camera then remembered the Fed.

All my guilty little purchases at the camera fair on Sunday. At least I'm a cheap camera-date

A Rolleiflex Automat (B&W) and a Pentax Auto 110 (color)

This weekend (saturday) i loaded my Canon Prima AS1 and did some shots of my 2 years old son swimming.
Ill probably finish the roll next saturday. Then there is my F100 with the 85mm and some Delta 100 that I really need to finish, it is to slow for this time of year. My Sinar Norma, hmm some stillifes?
Kind regards

Picked up a Voightlander Bessa at the estate auction for $25 last week. Ran a roll of Kodak Portra 400VC thru it. Everything seems A-OK( aperture, shutter speeds & focus) as best I can find info, camera dates to about 1936. It will join the post-war Zeiss Ikonta 6x6.

This week belongs to the Nikon F4 and Ilford. Gonna do some christmas market photography in black and white.

Auto 110 (Super G)
