My collection is not that large- maybe 65 or so Nikon Bodies and ~100 Nikon lenses. Add in the other cameras and lenses, like 90 lenses in Leica RF mount, about the same in other mounts, it adds up.
The fun of collecting is to find something cheap, even if it is in need of some repair- then make it work again. Doesn't matter how many cameras you have, if you walk into an Antique Shop and see a Nikon M with lens for $30, buy it. Or a pair of Barnack Leicas with lenses for $15 each, buy them. I did... My goal is to know how the cameras work, how the lenses were designed, and to leave them in better condition than I found them.
