Jason- for lenses, to start with, the most common focal lengths are 90, 135/150, and 210. Since you express an interest in landscape work, and it sounds like you'll have the budget, get yourself a good older 90 like an f8 Super Angulon or f8 Grandagon, and a 210. While the 210 is hardly a telephoto lens, by comparison to the 90 it is. It also offers you a good (short) portrait lens. You'll be able to hit not quite 1:1 on your Chamonix with the 210, so it will also allow you to do some decent macro work if you like. Look for a modern lens - the Caltar II f5.6 is actually a Rodenstock with a different label, but it sells used for much less because it doesn't have the Rodenstock name on it.
