The "Darkroom Timer" app doesn't seem to be in the Android Marketplace any more. Can anyone give a hint how I might access it otherwise?

It still is in Market. I found it right away. (Darkroom Timer, by Chicken of the Web)

I'm wondering if there are geographic or national restrictions to the Android Market. When I search the Market, I get the response:

"There are no matches in Android Market for the search: Darkroom Timer"

I also tried downloading a link from one of the websites that serves as a portal to the Android Market. That site has a listing for the software, and I followed the instructions there, and an email with the link arrived on my phone, but when I selected it, I received a similar "not found" message.

FWIW, my phone is a fairly new model - a Samsung GT-I5500M

If I recall correctly, all Android devices are identical, so yes.

How about a good old fashioned metronome? Keeps both of your hands free to work on the print exposure.
