:-( I'm so sorry to read this. I've been keeping my eye out for him and his posts for some time now, worrying. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends. He was a lovely man and will be greatly missed.

Sad to hear this. He was a valued, intelligent contributor and a terrific photographer.

I too am very sad to read this. Condolences to his friends and families.
I hope it is okay - I'm going to suggest to the moderators that this thread be moved to the "In Memoriam - APUG Members" forum, that Tony's name be added to the thread title and that the links referenced by jnanian be added to the initial post.

I would prefer to lost him to digital not to gods. One of the friendliest voice. Goodbye Tony.

Always a positive contributor to the forum. My condolences to his family and those who knew him personally.

I've updated the thread title and moved it to the "In Memoriam" forum.

Condolences to all who knew him. I enjoyed my small association with him here very much. I wish that I had known him better.

Good luck on whatever comes next, Tony!

Tony Lockerbie has been a great contributor to APUG and a good friend to all. My sincere condolences to his entire family and close friends.

Thank you for posting the link to his work.
I just was going through it admiring his talent. I love that shot of the gum trees in fog with the sun coming through it.

RIP Tony. Condolences to the family and friends.

This is sad news. Tony was such a positive guy on this forum, and a great photographer to boot. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Just woke up to this news, it is hard to believe news like this. Many of us have known each other so long now, it's hard to comprehend when one of us passes. Tony was a great guy and contributor to APUG, RIP Tony.

Sad news about a great guy. I always enjoyed his posts and photography. Condolences to his family.

Sorry to hear this news, his photos are beautiful.

I created the linked discussion on photonet that is linked in the first post here. I'll forward links to it and also to this one at APUG through to Alana Lockerbie in a few days, because I'm sure she'd be comforted to know how well-liked Tony was. Thanks to all who've commented, I know she'll appreciate your kind words.
Sincerely,
Brett
