SOLD The return of the 'Fuji 690 for a pittance' - Fujica G690BL for $275

I bought it, shot about 10 rolls through it and now need to sell it. Plus it doesn't suit my style. I can say though that the rangefinder patch is really nice - this is coming from a former Leica user. Also that the camera is lighter than it looks and handles nice.

I say this is fair condition. Worn aesthetically, but working mechanically.

Bought recently and encountered a problem with the rangefinder arm sticking. The problem has gone away, I assume that it just needed to some 'exercise', and all I can find negative about the camera is a very small vertical rangefinder alignment error. Frame spacing and winding mechanism is great. Lens has faint cleaning marks but is otherwise clear and nice.

I guess you should know that this camera is usable but a CLA would be recommended, obviously sold as-is and priced to sell.

If the glass is the same as the Mamiya Press 100mm f/3.5, it is a great lens. One of my favorites! Sharp as $hit, but in a very lighthanded way, not in a brash way. I love Mamiya's optics of this period so much. They are so technically sound, AND have so much individual character. The Press and C-series lenses are my favorite medium format lenses I have ever used.

Oh man - why couldn't you post this in a few weeks after I start my new job? I would definitely buy it if I had the money.

Krzys, Is the 100m f3.5 the AE? cheers, sam

Glad it went to a good home.
Sorry it wasn't mine!

Enjoy!
