the practicality of tabletop processors for RA4?

Did Kodak discontinue the 5x7 size paper? I still have quite a stock of it here.

Sorry, yes there still is 5x7 Endura Kodak paper, I was using Agfa..and 8x10 was the smallest size I used., and I believe the smallest cut size Agfa supplied.

It is still easier to handle 8x10 sheets though.

I use 5x7 for proofing and experiments in many cases.
