Just received a notice from Aperture that they are offering a 30% discount on 2025 books before Dec. 31. These include several that should be wonderful: Lee Miller, Man Ray, Manuel Alvarez Bravo and more.
I received it as well. The books aren't from Aperture, however, they're from Yale University Press.
Aperture published them through Yale.
Oh, I didn't see any mention of Aperture being involved in the publication of those YUP books, but I may have missed it. Either way, a good deal on what appears to be some great books.
Steidl will also be re-issuing (date unknown) The new Industrial Parks near Irvine, California.
Just ordered Candlestick Point by Lewis Baltz from Steidl. His books are so hard to find — or so expensive when found —, I was happy to see this was still available.

Good to hear about the reissue of The New Industrial Parks. I hope it comes to fruition faster than New Topographics, which has been promised for years
Amazon seems to have it scheduled for release in Feb 2026 and is taking pre-orders. Not sure whether to trust that date tbh..
It looks like Zander Galerie in Cologne Germany just had an exhibition of The New Industrial Parks that closed last month. Some nice installation photos on their site. That would have been nice to see in person.
On another subject, I've just been looking at my copy of Albert Watson's "Maroc," This is a wonderful book of his pictures shot in Morocco. I consider him one of the greats, yet one doesn't hear much about him.
Yes, big Baltz fan. Wish he was still with us.

Thanks! I didn't get notified of that and I thought I was on their mailing list. Just in time, I've been itching to get the new Graciela Iturbide book
Me neither!
Has anyone purchased the Moriyama Quartet book? I saw a flip through vid online and it didn't look well printed...
I've got it. See https://www.photrio.com/forum/threads/the-photobook-thread.199816/post-2927637
With Moriyama's work it's kind of hard to tell if something is well printed or notBut it seems to be printed as well as the other Moriyama books I have.
Thanks. Does this vid do it justice? It looks like the printing is blown out but it could be the vid....
I think the print quality is better than that captured in the video - that video looks like the contrast is cranked a bit high.
I've attached some quick shots of a couple of spreads. Apologies for the variable lighting, I tried with and without the overhead lights on in order to try and get a true representation of the print quality.
Hope this helps.
In the above image, you can actually see detail in the central figure's face. It looks completely black in the YouTube video.
Sweet. Thanks for that man... The only Moriyama book I have is a little Phaidon pocket type. I've been waiting for a retrospective. There are so many Moriyama books I could never figure out which ones to get...
