I must be thinking of some other camera. I will go back in sit in the corner for a while.
That was about Bronicas. This does not count. :
Can we discuss the beauty that is the Nikon F5?HOLY SMOKES!!! 8fps is pure angelic music!
Aren't you going to say that the F100 is better because the F5 is as big as a Bronica?
Ya know it's reassuring to know you're holding an F5 with an 80-200 f2.8 one touch weighing in at 8# when you head down a dark alley instead of some wimpy F100 with a 50 1.8.
I know F5 fans love their camera and its metering, but it's close to a digital camera in its ergonomics.
...
What's special about its metering though?
...
The "Pro" hot shoe flash for the F5 was the SB 28 with a guide number of 120 or 125 if I remember correctly. Lots of backward and forward compatibility among Nikon Speedlights and both film and digi cameras built since 2000
The SB28 seems to be extremely cheap compared to the SB80DX.
I'm having a hard time understanding the difference between TTL and A modes though. I didn't think the F5 was capable of auto flash.

The F5 is a great flash machine. Time for some reading.

A little weight on a camera can help balance things out when using a long lens too.
I just saw an opportunity to rib my friend, Sirius. That's why I mentioned the weight.
I can say that the focus points not lighting up red is a bit of a disappointment. Makes it rather hard to tell which point you're on.
