I still have hopes that someone can rip Kodak's film business away from Kodak upper management in time so that it can begin to benefit from the uptick in the analog market. And that the manufacturing part of it is included, so any potential new owners are not forced to suffer the uncertainty of having Perez continue to control the production of the product they are trying to sell.
(Well, one can hope, can't he?)

it is totally out of our hands. there is absolutely nothing we can do to solve or make this problem better.
Rather than obsess over the Kodak issue with doom and gloom you could spend your time promoting film photography in general and increase your support for the vendors that are still strong.
