Well, if you combine them with "how to assemble" videos, they can be handy with IKEA furniture
Speaking of unboxings, I just received an invitation from Tarmarkin Camera for a wine and cheese reception preceding the start of their latest Leica auction. Do you think you could have a wine and cheese reception for anything other than a Leica? I don't think you could pull it off for any other camera. For most other brands, you would probably just have a taco truck or something.
You sure it wasn't a whine and cheese reception?
Taco trucks over wine and cheese any day.
Yeah, no idea when they'll get them, or how many. Weird thing is places like B&H and Adorama don't even list it on their sites. In a way, that's good because they don't have it!
I want to know how you get the buy it now button to appear on Leica USA website. I had to get out my laptop last night to sign on. On the notify me list.

Hell of a money for a slow maximum 1000 speed shutter opening and closing behind your lens in front of your film.

I’m trying to think when was the last time I used 1/8000 on my F6 or R9. I ‘think’ I may have done it to shoot at 1.4 in direct sunlight for that bokeh effect w/o needing nd filters, but that was more of a novelty thing.
I’m not even sure when was the last time I used 1/2000 on my F3p! Maybe I’m doing it wrong?

I can see the ad "Mint M6 .... 1/1000th speed never used!
I'm certain I've never used the 1/1000 on my '68. M4..... just saying
Absolutely! And I've done it. Ripple and Velveeta are very inexpensive. The Art Scum crowd will eat and drink anything, as long as the operative word is "free".
Granted I tend to shoot at f8-ish as I don't do the bokeh thing. And with a yellow filter permanently glued to my lenses and my typical rating of B&W film at one stop under box speed, I rarely go above 1/250 - even in the bright California sunshine. So the 1/1000 limit of a Leica film camera is not limiting at all.I'm certain I've never used the 1/1000 on my '68. M4..... just saying

What I hate about my Leica CL and Minolta CLE is that I can not shoot 400/800 iso daylight on the beach and late afternoon/evening with the same camera. I always have to have 2 cameras. I need 4000 shutter speed to do that. I am sick of caring 2/3 cameras with me. And while my canon 40mm is very good and small my minolta and canon 28mm lenses are not even close to my elmarit.
If it was not for the size I would not even use a range finder. Composition with SLR is fine for me. But when I have to carry 2 rangefinder cameras "1 with low iso and 1 with high iso" it defeats the size advantage.
On this page if you click on each camera it will show two of three choices. “Quick View”, and “Notify me” or “Add to Cart”. If you see add to cart you can buy it.

Yes, I got that part figured out. I need a computer program that will push the button every 30 seconds.
