Sean,

I do not know if this is an issue known to you, but I did just change my website-adress, but noticed the old adress is stil showing beneath my old posts. I sort of counted on them changing to the knew webadress.

Thanks,

Jaap Jan

Edit. P.S. I now notice that my old webadress is also showing under this post.

P.S. Sorry!!! Solved the "problem" myself. Forgot to change the signature..

It might be on a scheduled cache rebuild and should update soon, however I'll check with the software guys to be sure.

The link for the Hybrid photo group at the front page points to a non existent page and should be updated.

I'm sure this has been addressed somewhere but right now when I click into a thread it takes me to the last post. Is it possible to go to the original post when you open a thread (like you did before)?

Sean installed a switch to choose between clicking on the title or the button in front of it to bring you to the last post.
If the button is activated, clicking on the title will bring you to the first post instead.

To Change the Setting:
-) hover over your Name right above, to open your personal window
-) click "Preferences" at the left
-) go at "Options" to the last-but-one

I like that my avatar shows up on the new post column, helps me see at a quick glance what threads I am participating in.

Colour contrast in poll barchart is so low I can barely see the bar. Could the contrast and/or colour of the bar be changed to make it stand out quite a bit more.

See following example of low contrast bar: (there was a url link here which no longer exists)

I've chosen the option that takes me to the first new post when I click on the title. 95% of the time that is what I need. I wish, however, that that option switched the button as well - to send me to the beginning of the thread, for the 5% of the time that I want to go there.

Thank you very much. I could be wrong but I think the instructions on that checkbox indicate the opposite of what it does. (says to check to link to first unread post, for me checking linked to first thread post) (maybe it's just me?)

When replying to a conversation I repeatedly received the following error while typing (screen capture)...

Ahh... I forgot I have to upload images to a third party first... not bothering with that.

It says "The following error occurred. The server responded with an error. The error message is in the Javascript console."

I've seen that quite often too. I suspect its some asynchronous JavaScript on the client side not managing to do its stuff properly for some reason. I also think it'll be a real pain to track down exactly what is casuing it but could be ad or some other blocking in the browser. i.e. browser settings which the javascript has assumed will not be switched on or off but I could be wrong. I'm using IE11. Just closing the popup seems to allow everything to continue as normal for me

I'm using the latest iteration of Google Chrome. The popup acts the same way for me... popup, close, keep typing. It's just a bit inconvenient when it happens a half dozen times during a reply.

You don't need to upload images to a third party, look to the bottom of the reply box and you'll see a button "Upload File or Image".

As for your java error, do you know if you are running any ad blocking or security plugins? Thanks

Is it every time you reply to any thread? Can you try re-installing java on your system: http://www.java.com

no I did look but found nothing. And when say java do you really mean javascript becasue I have java switched off but javascript is on. And IE11 is running in protected mode.

Next time it happens I'll let you know exactly what I was doing when it happened.

It happened when replying to a conversation, not when replying to a post/thread. It's only happened once but I've only had a couple of conversations since the new software was implemented. I'll update Java

well, it must be a code error somewhere but I have yet to see it. Are you able to reproduce it over and over or is it random? If a series of steps can bring up the error for me that would help.

You're welcome to start a conversation with me so I can let you know if it happens again.

Regarding series of steps: Only one step on my end... typing a reply to a new conversation sent to me.
