About a year ago I happened to luck into a cool domain name: holga.ws.
Sweet, yeah?
I followed that up by parking a SMF forum on it and forgetting about it. Obviously, it quickly devolved into a spam-filled cesspool.
So I deleted it. All of it. Lock, stock, and barrel. Given my recent increase in free time, I've decided to give it another go and have put something a little more rounded and social on the domain. Think: Facebook for toy camera fans.
And it does have some features in similar with FB, like status updates, friend networks, and such...but it also has a lot of photography-friendly features like a JPEG Mag-style rating system and photo battles, plus short URLs to your profile page (i.e. http:/holga.ws/Brian). Profile pages are also fully customizable...you can drag and drop pieces around.
If you're in to toy cameras, check it out and let me know what you think. It's still in BETA modus, so features, the UI, and other bits and pieces will change and there may (read: ARE) a few bugs, but the basics are all there and it's pretty stable.
