6400I am very much looking forward to this publication!
As an editorial note, I hope the publisher changes the incorrect usage found in the 1st edition for square inches--i.e., the 1st edition uses "80² inches" to mean "80 square inches", though as noted, it means 1600 inches. The correct notation is either spelled out, or "80 in²". As written in the 1st edition, the interpretation is 1600 inches, a linear measurement, and not a measurement of area.
Well done Steve, hope the new book is up to your usual standard.

It is called "Starting a Conversation"Greetings, Ian! I was wondering where you were. I haven't been able to find your email addresses in ages. I would have liked your input on the latest ed. I also don't see how to send a private message on this site.

It is called "Starting a Conversation"
Click on Ian's User Name, a box will pop up and "Start a Conversation" is one of the clickable options.
Fill in a title, put the content of your message in the appropriate box, and then scroll down to the button that says "Start a Conversation".
From then on there is an Inbox link at the top right of most pages that will show an indicator when you have a message/conversation waiting for you.
Good luck with your new edition!
+1Can't wait! I have benefited from two of your other books.
I don't expect this release to provide any info on the NEW HC-110 and certainly not the shelf life of the concentrate (a topic of much speculation on this forum), but the book is sure to be a big winner. Is it unreasonable to anticipate addenda to the book in some form as this info becomes known to you both (excluding shelf life, of course)? Thanks for all your effort, Bill and Steve.
I'm always ready for pleasantry, Steve. It's hard to come by in today's world. You may be pleasantly surprised, silveror0!
Your publisher might offer a box of samples at wholesale price at photo retailers overseas (eg. Fotoimpex). That would save buyers from paying absurd air-postage.
