It'll be most amusing to see how many blank shots there will be on the roll >

Have fun with the camera moose, sounds like we'll get this done soon.... i better get my 35mm enlarger setup again soon......

There were six people before me but the counter was only on 20 when it got here.
I made mine today:

1) Cool tree-tunnel way out on a country road... I completely misjudged how wide the 35mm lens was, and was too far away. Not great.
2) The beach where Salmon Creek reaches the Pacific Ocean, with a foggy point called "Bodega Head" off in the distance.
3) A view of "Gull Rocks", of course with a seagull perched on one of them like there usually is.
4) A place called Duncan's Landing where redwood timber was loaded onto ships to build San Francisco. I forgot to remove the lens cap, and didn't realize until I reached into my pocket to get it and put it back on. Since there were still 12 exposures left, I cheated and took it again as a 5th frame. Hope that's okay

I'll send it off to Japan this week.

Ned
I only took 2 photos, so I'll take credit for one of yours

No problem pick whichever you like. I was happy to see you visiting Sonoma County last weekend!
Or maybe you will decide to disavow all knowledge of how those photos were made... in which case, "sorry that your trip west was canceled"

I hope all you participants in the camera eleventy adventure understand how painful reading this is for those of us who still await the end of the camera ten journey ....

I think most of us in this round were in the previous round too.

The camera is on the way to Japan. The nice lady at the post office says it will take 5 to 10 days to get there.

Great! I'm going to bet on the faster end of the scale, things move pretty quickly here.

Did the camera get to Japan already or am i overly eager? >

Haven't received it yet, but most things have shut down this weekend because of the super typhoon currently hitting the country. It's raining quite hard here in Kyoto, but the winds are not bad (comes and goes).

I'll post as soon as I get it.

Ho Ho, Typhoons are pretty good reasons :-D

And no rush, we'll still out-race Camera 10 to the finish ;-)

Just an update - I received the camera last week (Friday) but between work and the rain I haven't had a chance to shoot with it yet. I hope to get out this weekend if the rain holds off.

Umbrella anyone ?

Moose, just a heads up. I'll be out of country every month for a few weeks. So send me a message before you want to send the camera back to me so we can plan this a bit

I was just thinking about this! Sorry for the delay in getting my photos taken, I've been incredibly busy at work with no time to go shooting during daylight hours. I was thinking of taking the camera with me to Nepal next week as I'll be there for a conference - we'll see though, I may be inspired this weekend. I'll definitely be in touch before I send the camera.

No worries, i have no rush at all with this. So pictures from Japan or Nepal? Interesting, your pick! :-D

Mooseontheloose was just in contact with me to arrange sending the camera back to me! we have some shipping timing to work out as i will be abroad myself (shooting 5x4 in the Atlas mountains....).

But by all accounts this should be complete soon then, given my development and printing backlog this means i will develop/print/scan our round in February.

Just an update - the camera is with me on my travels through Egypt, Sudan, UAE, Finland, and Estonia. Hopefully locutus and I can arrange a handoff when I’ll be in Helsinki for the day. A little bit later than planned, but as I didn’t have time to go to the post office before I left, I figured this was the best alternative.

Good to hear it's still alive. With Camera 10 likely MIA permanently, I was worried!

Thank you for the update! Have safe travels!

I got the camera back in person from Mooseontheloose today!

I'm pretty content that we managed to get this all done with zero hiccups or problems, thanks to all!

Next up, getting the film developed and scanned. Time commitments are a bit hard to give, i hope i'll find time this month to do this and then i'll post scans here.

For participants that want a RC print of their picture then i'll make sure that happens

Woa, I had almost missed that good news ! We managed this global loop in an record time !
Thanks @locutus for organizing it !
Regards,
Raphael

Anxiously awaiting the results.
I doubt my two masterpieces compare to the others on the roll, but is is a neat thing with which to be involved.

I can understand the delay, COVID has greatly affected all of our lives.
