Hey, can we include our Australian friend @Dr Croubie in the camera trip ? Maybe between Nedl the californian and Rachel in Japan ? Or as I am the last in Europe, we can start the trip to the East (Euro centered map-wise) , and I send the camera to Rachel or to Doctor C .?

@macfred @locutus : thanks for the information ! I am ready But have we defined a theme for this round ? Do we need one ?

Hi locutus,
I was just asking for courtesy to Dr Croubie, as I don't think he got an answer
So, I am now waiting the camera

Hi folks,
I got an unexpected parcel from Germany today Unexpected, because I missed Macfred's last update on this thread. The camera is in perfect condition... Ahem, now, that's gone wrong are the weather condition here ! And I still have to found interesting opportunities to fill four shots, since I am not used to this camera speed

Stay tuned,
Regards,

Raphael

Well, three shots made, plus a totally black... Because I forgot the lens cap on and absolutely nothing warned me about it...
I am in fact a little worried for the two first shots, as I wonder if I had really removed that damn cap.
Probably not clever to shot a fifth one, so, I will need soon the address of @Wallendo from North Carolina...
Best regards,

Raphael

@locutus : well received, many thanks !

BTW : Thanks to @macfred for the signed print and small message kindly included in the package. I will try to do the same thing before posting camera to @Wallendo

About the damn lens cap, I think I have a genuine Konica Pop cap somewhere. It has a plastic "corner" which can protrude beyond the viewfinder, and acts as a reminder.
If I'll get it, I'll give it with the camera.

Regards,

Raphael

I'll keep an eye out for it.

From following previous threads, I wasn't expecting this until sometime in 2020

@Wallendo : Glad you had seen my message Wish you a good reception and happy shooting. Don't forget the cap !

For information of everyone, I changed the two AA battery for fresh ones just before shipping. I have indeed found before the flash popped-up last time I picked the camera from my bag, and was afraid of drained them.

Raphael

Not too worry, the camera will fire without batteries fitted. And they should last quite a couple of flash pops, far more then 36 exposures on the roll! :-D
