The correct dust mask for chemistry

Hi all:

I'm going to Home Depot to get some needed knickknacks for my home darkroom. While there, I need to get a mask for weighing and pouring chemicals, specifically the nastiest of them all: Amidol. What is the correct, specific designation of dust mask I should be using, to provide the right protection? I presume dust and vapors behave differently...

a P3 (sometimes FFP3) will be more than adequate.

There are 3 grades: P1, P2, P3

P2 and P3 are regulated for toxic particles.

P3 is the finest.

Keep in mind that leakage at the face cantact is an issue. As is comfort, though that should be a lesser issue for short term powder handling.
