Since I use almost exclusively Kodak colour slide film, I thought I'd thank them for their support of film, despite the reality of the marketplace. They sent a nice e-mail back:
It's not from the CEO and it's not a roll of free film, but I think it's important to keep them aware that there are film photographers out here and I actually do appreciate their efforts.

Regards, Art.

Thanks for sharing. My usual contact with Kodak is through their representatives when they go to one of the pro labs I use. They have always been very helpful, and sometimes I got a free roll to try out, often resulting in me buying more of the same type later on.

It seems popular on many forums to bash Kodak, and praise Fuji. I use both their products because I like the results, and the uniqueness of their different choices. I wish both companies the best for the future, mainly because they are my primary (only?) choices in E-6 films.

Now, if any Kodak people are reading this, could you please consider E200 in Readyloads. It would be the only choice in good performing medium contrast film with push capability. Thanks in advance!

Ciao!

As long as they keep Kodachrome 64 in production, I'm happy. In a pinch I can find substitutes for anything else, though I would hate to give up Tri-X.
