Friday, My wife Dianna and I traded Jeremy Moore and his girlfriend a
plane ride for some stainless steel reels Jeremy wasn't using
anymore. Jeremy brought along several of his palladium prints, a
cyanotype and a stack of postcards from the postcard exchange.

Just got a chance to breeze through the cyanotype and postcards because I
was so blown away by the palladiums. I had previously thought that
palladiums were all muddy and didn't have any real blacks. Jeremy's
prints turned me completely around. very very cool.

Thanks, Jeremy, for a very enjoyable evening. Dianna and I were talking
about your prints and about the pleasure of learning something new that
changes your fundamental viewpoint for hours.

I had a bit more to say, but new threads (at least in this forum) have a very different editor than the editor used for quick replies. The one I'm typing this into has a "guided mode"/"enhanced mode", both of which show tags instead of being WYSIWYG. I've tried for a couple of days to find a way around this problem to no avail. (changing my profile settings, deleting all cookies, adding all manner of javascript plugins to my browser, etc.)

I in turn should say "Thanks, Clay and Jorge!" These are the guys who helped me with my transition into palladium. I'm planning on getting some vellum paper to do my palladiums on for the next photo exchange.

Kevin is a great guy and the night flight over Denton with lightning on the horizon was amazing. It is COMPLETELY different flying in a small plane than in a jet.

Well, I would gladly accept the thanks if I had done something to help you..

All I did was send you a print (and a reject print at that) to show the possibilities. The rest was up to you (I imagine with some help from Clay), and it seems you have reached your goal judging from Kevin's praise. Congratulations!

Jorge, my prints are far from being anywhere near your reject print so I still have a lot of work to do. As soon as I get one I feel satisfied with I will mail it to you as promised.
