Hello all,
In recent months I've moved from a city with an excellent pro-lab, in a country where consumer-packaged colour chemicals were completely unavailable, to a small and labless town in a country where they're easily available online.
Obviously, I had to start doing it myself. So in the past 2 days, I have just had the pleasure of processing a couple of rolls of Ektar and starting to print them, as well as some older negatives I've been wanting to print for years.
Thanks to the enormous amount of constructive information that has been posted in this forum over the years, the whole process was ... really very easy. And although I think I'll still be spending a bit of time refining filtration for some of the negatives I've been working on, it has been a really rewarding and happy couple of days.
So, thank you to all of you who have so generously shared your expertise here. It really helps.
Now to move onto these boxes of colour 4x5
