Well this is the first kit of Tetenal Colortec E-6 that we have used, and have not developed anything in a month and the 1st developer is an amber tan, Should we throw it out and mix another batch, or is it OK to develop with,

I'm about to mix a new batch and will note the initial color. But I would consider "amber tan" to be a normal color. That's assuming I haven't been doing a lot of Ektachrome with its extremely stubborn pink dye.
