With regards to the exposure of the 5 test sheets of film in the BTZS, am I wrong in assuming that if the sheets are NOT exposed to the value set in the plotter program (I believe it is 2.4) that the only thing that will be off is the film speed... and as a result all other data will be shifted linearly... whereby the error could be corrected by some form of offsetting?

The reason I ask is, having learned the system and having purchased the test sheets with the step wedge already shot, (ie, trusting someone else to have set up the exposure properly) I want to make sure I'm getting what I'm "supposed" to be getting. I could shoot the test film myself and will if necessary but it would be a PIA if all I need to do is offset any error if in fact I notice one in my actual shooting.

Thanks for your help!

Bob
